Brooklyn motorist yells N-word, assaults man after he’s caught on camera

The President of Black Lives Matter Brooklyn has turned to social media for help identifying the racist in the clip.

The NYPD is reportedly looking into a racist attack that turned violent on the Upper East Side, and it was all caught on camera.

Anthony Beckford, the President of Black Lives Matter Brooklyn shared the footage on Twitter, showing a white male spewing a racist epithet at a sanitation worker who was reportedly blocking his car, according to TMZ.

“Hey yo, it’d be smart to get out of the middle of the street asshole!” he shouts after exiting his vehicle. “F–king n—-r!”

When he notices someone recording the moment, the man says “Are you recording me? Why? I’m an asshole? Honey — look in the mirror.”

When the person filming responds sarcastically  “you’re so fierce”, the irate racist replies “I know I am, thank you! Are you gay too? No you’re not? Well, you look like it.”

He then threatens to “beat the shit” out of the person filming his crazy.

That’s when he exits his car once more to grab the other man’s phone and smash it on the ground.

Beckford, who is running for a New York City 2021 Council Seat, has turned to Twitter to help identify the man, TooFab reports.

“Racist on the Upper East Side. Find out who this racist person is and let us hold them accountable. This and any other act of racism will NOT be tolerated,” he captioned the clip of the confrontation.

Adding: “this racist trash does not get a pass at all. Uses the n-word, then assaults the person video taping and destroys property.”

In a follow up tweet he noted, “As City Council Member of #District45, I will be holding these racists accountable.”

The man makes clear in the clip that he doesn’t care if he becomes Internet famous for being a racist prick. He even brags about gaining fans because of it.

Meanwhile, Beckford recently spoke out about receiving messages last month on social media threatening to lynch him.

“When you do this kind of work, you get used to it. Now, they are so blatant and blunt with it. There’s no accountability,” he told BK Reader.

One particular message he shared on social in an effort to alert the community of what we’re up against when Blacks speak out about injustice and police reform.

“I wanted people to see and understand that while we’re out here demanding justice that we’re the ones being threatened with even more violence.”
