3 Ways to Find New Customers to Grow Your Business

find new customers

As a business owner, customer acquisition should be our first priority. Without customers, we do not have a business. Here are three ways to find new customers:

1. Existing Customers

The first way is to leverage your existing customer base.

If you provide a great service experience, your existing customers can also be your cheerleaders. Make sure you encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews on sites such as Google, Amazon, Facebook, or Yelp.

Offer a discount or a rebate to your customers for providing referrals. This is a great incentive for them and will create repeat business for you.

Satisfied customers will share their experiences with their network, provide referrals, and help you grow your customer base.

2. Social Media

Your next customer is closer than you think. While many of use social media personally, platforms such as LinkedIn can help us professionally.

LinkedIn offers the opportunity to get in front of your ideal prospect. Join groups that serve your target audience. Add value to the group by providing educational content.

If you like to be in front of the camera, YouTube is the place to be. Position yourself as an expert in your field to reach potential clients. Creating video content is a great investment for you and your business.

You want to draw your prospect to you. This is a long game but well worth the effort.

3. Networking

One of the best, and underutilized, ways to find new customers is face-to-face networking. For some, it may be uncomfortable, but business is about relationships. And you want to get people to know, like, and trust you so that they do business with you.

All networking events are not equal. Find out where your target audience hangs out and show up. Build relationships with the organizers and have them make introductions for you.

Face-to-face networking is one of the best ways to grow your business.

Building your customer base is a daily activity. You have to position yourself as the best option in the marketplace. By using these tactics, you will be well on your way to growing your business and increasing your revenue.

Day 2: Impeachment Boogaloo

Have you ever been to a rave? I have and it’s exactly what you’d expect: loud music, lots of footwork, glow sticks and drugs. But what’s most impressive about a rave is how long they are and how sweaty everyone gets because the whole room gets hot because of all the non-stop dancing.

On an Instagram video, Boyega, 27, shared with the world the touching moment he bought his parents, Samson and Abigail, a home. He said it’s something he has always wanted to do and he lured his parents to their new London digs by getting them to think they were there for an interview on him.

Moments like these make all the hard work worth it.

A post shared by John Boyega (@johnboyega) on

“I mean that’s a way to do it. You know, I also think that’s giving back to my king and my queen,” Boyega says of the moment.

Boyega seats his parents on a couch in front of a camera before asking them who their favorite son is. He then fesses up that there is no interview planned.

“I’m here to tell you, there’s no interview. That was a lie,” Boyega said to them. “This is your new house. It belongs to you.”

His parents look utterly shocked while Boyega explains to them that he has been working on this surprise for several months. He thanks them for everything they’ve done in his life. A camera pans the room and parts of the multi-level house. His dad can be seen dabbing his eyes with a tissue.

“Moments like these make all the hard work worth it,” Boyega captioned his IG video.

This happened in 2017, before Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the second film in the trilogy, was released, although Boyega shared the special moment on IG on Tuesday.

We’ve long known Boyega was a family man. He recently promoted his sister Grace’s African fashion designs on the red carpet at the London premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, according to PEOPLE magazine. Boyega donned a royal blue Agbada robe with gold accents and a traditional hat.

Boyega’s family joined him at the premiere and also wore traditional African attire.

“I’m grateful that my brother entrusted me to execute his vision for the premiere,” Grace, a fashion designer, told People.com. “I knew I was the right person to do it as I’ve always had a passion for fashion. I’ve learned from building my own brand that I had it in the bag.”

“We love being Nigerian!” she added. “This was an opportunity of a lifetime. I’m just happy my hard work paid off.”
